I have a dish with a switch providing feeds from 28.2 (first position) & 19.2 (second position).

One of my boxes (MVision HD200 Combo) seems to have problems 'activating' the switch to move to 19.2. Sometimes it comes up, sometimes not. Sometimes powering the box on and off while it is theoretically on a 19.2 channel works.

My guess is that the box is a little poorly as it's a couple of years old, but I would have thought that the switch signal was pretty basic and so it would either work all the time or none of it. Is there some minimum level of signal required from the box or the transponder before the switch happens, or is there something else I'm missing?

I've plugged in a Silvercrest box and it doesn't seem to have any problems switching, although I haven't given it a good run yet so I'm not sure (and I can't find a channel editor for the Silvercrest and I don't fancy having to manually delete 900+ channels.

Any suggestions on what might be wrong with the MVision, stopping it from switching? On the box, the diseqc config is set up with 28.2 on the first connection and 19.2 on the second one.
