In the top right-hand corner, click the customise button. It could be a wrench or look like this depending on your version:

    570-chrome-extensionB1.gif
Ignore the Chinese thing, I found it it Google Images

    Click settings

Under "On startup", chose if you want to open the New Tab page, continue where you left off before you closed Chrome or choose a specific home page.

What's the 'homepage' that you're referring to?

Was it the New Tab page? or a certain website? Google?

Ok, maybe I am saying this the wrong way.
What I mean is when I click the Open homepage icon (little house) I get Outlook msn where I used to have Google chrome. On that screen (Chrome) I had local weather , breaking news etc and this is what I'm trying to get back.
    I hope that is clearer.
    Thanks for help.

You're welcome. Yeah it's a Google page called iGoogle(hence the /ig), it was launched back in 2005.

I'd advise you to move on from that as iGoogle is supposed to be decommissioned in November 2013.

Or so they said around this time last year.

I know there are a few iGoogle alternatives out there. I think one is called igHome

Have you tried My MSN? my.msn.com
