Help identifying a record.

    Hi Guys,

I was clearing out some stuff from my Dad's and came across some of my old records, all 90's dance. While trying to value some of them one has caught my attention.

The record in question is Dream Lover by Sound Crowd, it's a bright green disc with plain white labels, on one label Dream Lover is hand written.

Now for my question, while checking out some sites I see there is a release of Dream Lover which is worth quite a bit, apparently there were only 100 printed, I can't remember what's on the B side and don't have a record player any more to check. Does anyone know how to identify the limited run disc or any info on my version?

    Thanks
    N.

Thanks Lumbo, that seems to be the one I have.

Have you any idea of value?

It's the single sided white label that's the bigger money maker http://www.discogs.com/Secret-Weapon-Dream-Lover/release/780967

As for the value of your one, only you & a buyer can decide that, how valuable is it to you? if your selling it how much are you willing to take for it? and then how much are people willing to pay for it?

Worth noting this one as a guide for you http://www.adverts.ie/vinyl/sound-crowd-secret-weapon-ep-dream-lover-sixth-sense-ringsend/2989583 which didn't take long to get snapped up!

Will you be selling via discogs individually or are you looking to sell them off as one lot? Interested in what others you've unearthed

I'll be looking to sell in one lot, otherwise I'll be stuck with some of the less desirable ones.

I've the full list at home, in total there are 30, sound crowd, Liquid wheel, Cyborgs from hell, 4th dimension, Phutura, MDMA, Cosmic baby, I've Sequential One's album Dance, I can't recall the rest of the top of my head.

I'll be sticking them up on adverts once I get pics of everything, probably over the weekend.

I have the green one too - was sold as a St patrick's day issue. I've always been interested to know if this track is actually by the sound crowd or is a remix of another track? Didn't Roger Sanchez have a secret weapon moniker?

Also have the sound crowd remix of shining path, change it, class track not really well known, single sided also.

Edit: my green one has ringsend and sixth season on the other side, not the really valuable one, was never sold to me as being limited to 100 copies anyway

I've a good 100 odd from this era I'd be willing to shift, are you looking for anything in particular?

The green one isnt worth as mush as the single sided vinyl but hard enough to find. Not too many of them around for sale.On a side note.Anyone have a sound crowd think about it please and or Odyssey as they are all i need to finish my sound crowd collection of vinyl.

If selling vinyl, list them on Adverts. I'm looking for a few bits, but the vinyl would need to be near mint condition.
