Don't know if I'd call them tips but my lecturer pointed out some areas of interest.
Don't take them as gospel but would be worth knowing as they are due a question:

Legal system - precedent, civil vs criminal

Contract law - consideration, exclusion clauses, agency

Employment law - duties of the employer

Tort - duty of care, standard of care, remoteness

    Company law -
*types of busines units and formations: partnerships
    *Promoters and pre-incorporation contracts
*Company officers: directors / auditor / agent
*Co. Capital & borrowing- specifically Dividends discount / premium, fixed vs floating charges, priority of debts
*Corporate Governance - fraudulent & reckless trading, bribery & corruption

Baring in mind that 50% of the course is to do with company law.
Burning the midnight oil as we speak!!
Best of luck to us both on Monday :)

The only tips I've ever seen of being of any benefit was to know the articles in the student magazine. Everything else is mostly guess work.

I agree to that. Read the Bribery article on the last minute and it came up for 10 marks. :-D
