What flower is this?

    This flower comes up every year in the middle of our lawn for at least 20 yrs can anyone shed some light on what it is?

    Lol, 'tis too! You could always lift it and put it in a border - I'd wait until it has flowered though. Was that taken this year? bit early for gladiolus

    Yep I took the pic today, it's been there for yrs just growing in middle of lawn every summer always wondered what it was, is it weird that it would just grow wild like that?

    Weird? No. Its not growing wild, there is a corm there, every year it grows and you mow round it. Not strange at all!
