They're typically sold with the GB case and should be cheap. Never had to replace one myself yet but i hope will be straightforward enough to get a replacement. Maybe bring the old micro switch to somewhere like Maplins and they should be able to sort an equivalent for you.
Here's a link to the case and micro switch below:

    Out of stock unfortunately.

Morning. I have contacted Ares (ares and star are identical to each other) and have bought parts like that directly from them. Krystal (I'm assuming that she's a "she"!!) is very helpful and their shipping is quick and cheap too.

Just tell her its for an ares sa80 and you're golden!! Hope all goes well for you

Hey mate only saw your post now.

It is a standard microswitch, shouldn't cost anymore than €6 or €7.

Maplins sell them, the part number is GW71N
And as of the time of posting this they have 4 in stock:D

The micro switch comes with longer connectors than you need, but they just need to be trimmed down and one of them removed.
Any AEG Techhead will be able to do it for you.

    Thanks Rooky

Regarding other replacements - they also sell miniature motors which work perfectly in both the Ares and A&K box mags ( burnt out motors being common problems). About a fiver and an easy fix too.
