vag cruise control wiring?

    Long shot, but worth asking.
I bought a kufatec cruise control kit for my audi 80 1.9 tdi 1z.
The kit comes with the stalk and a wiring loom with a plug for the stalk and 5 wires running from it that have to be plugged into different locations (in the ecu i think). I can fit the stalk and enable the cruise control in the ecu via vagcom (comes built in from factory).
The problem I have is where to run these wires, have scoured the internet and come up with how to's for nearly every vag car apart from the one I want.
    Anyone got a clue?

I will have a look for the wiring diagram for you.

    Edit:

Sorry system I have doesnt have wiring details for cars of that age.

The Kufatec people should have surely sent you a wiring diagram with the kit. Are the wires labeled? 5 grey wires was never going to be a help. I remember a mate added cruise to an early A4 and it was just plugged in in the drivers footwell.

This is a diagram for a IZ engine 95 Audi A4

    302sx82.jpg

Seems all wires from cruise switch go to a black 6 pin connector at the steering column.
Thats if the car is prewired for this. The wires from that connector go to:

J213 -cruise control control module (3 wires)
    power supply (1 wire)
    Brake light switch (1 wire)
    Clutch switch (1 wire)

Its not the right car but might have similar setup with the iz engine.
Might give you a starting point
