"wild" rasberry plants

    Well maybe not wild but they have escaped into the surrounding area.

    Can I use these to restart my canes that had the misfortune to have been trampled/eaten to death by a pet donkey over the course of the last year or so?

    Actually they are starting to resprout weakly in situ but I could speed up the process by filling in gaps with some sturdier plants that are nearby if they were suitable..

    I remember about 5 years ago I bought a few canes from the garden centre as I felt that the existing canes might have "gone native" over the years but I didn't find that they were really any different .
