Hi, when showing the examiner your licence does he examine it and hold onto it or just take a quick look and give it back to you?

HE is going to notice whatever you are trying to hide.

When you are in the waiting room they sometimes take it off you to check the number is valid and it's not a fake.

Other times they just look at it to make sure it's in date and not a forgery.

It is then handed back to you.

It is my proper licence all numbers just my photo was damaged and some of the waterlines are not visible, would they notice and reject this?

If it looks dodgy, I'd say the inspector will be the least of your worries!
