What "household" items contain lots of nickel?

Long story short, I'm convinced my friend is allergic to nickel specifically, but he claims otherwise.
I'm curious to see if there's an easy way to test this, by rubbing him against some door knob or something.

Buying pure nickel is probably putting more effort into this than I'm willing to exert.
Any suggestions?

Hmm, interesting, not sure if it would be conclusive though.
He appears to be allergic to a stainless steel watch, it's 316L grade so it contains chromium, nickel and molybdenum and of course, austenite.
I need to rule out the other metals, easiest way I see of doing so is by getting something really high in nickel.
He could just be getting a rash from the friction though, he might have some kind of underlying dermatitis.

Electroplated nickel silver used to be common on cutlery. You might be able to cut a bit off an old spoon or something. According to wikipedia it is : 60% copper, 20% nickel and 20% zinc.
