Is there a closing date for registration?

No as we will be taking entries on the day. No one day licenses available, so you must have a CI or IVCA license.

The licence is effectively to confirm that you are covered by CI's insurance. It's something you need for racing and any sportif/events who use CI's indemnity cover.
Road tax doesn't exist  and the NCT for bikes is the 100k (finish it and youve passed :D)

We normally get anywhere from 50 - 100 participants.

On line registrations are coming in more frequently now and as the weather looks promising for Sunday, we expect quite a few will sign-on on the day itself.

I'm trying to apply for my licence, can this be done online or do I need to use the post :( as I fear it won't be available in time if so.

I suggest you contact Cycling Ireland by Phone and pay via Credit card. Applying by Post or On-line will take too long.

Sure your just Carbo Loading. Think a bottle of beer has around 150cals. The spin tomorrow should burn around 2500 sothat equates to around 17 "free" beers tonight ;-)

Have to say a big Thank You to Swords CC for a brilliant day out today. The rain held off with only a bit of drizzle in one spot. The stop off at Tayto Park was just perfect and the food was top notch. Really well run and the marshalling was first class. Well done and looking foward to next year's. Did I mention the food?:D

Yeah great event today. The out riders were brilliant made it a super spin. Thanks to all in Swords CC for the day. Would have not believed this time last year I could do 145k but managed it today. Chuffed with myself. B*ll*xed now but happy.
