Which is the best for service and value for money?

I'm getting bored with the ones on my free to air satellite channels, its a mixture of constant repeats or ones I don't particularly like

Netflix is meant to be much better for TV shows and general quality of streams, not sure about lovefilm, potentially better for films but I've not used it myself.

That said, it's a moot point really because Lovefilm is only available in the UK so Netflix is really your only option.

Based on what I've seen in the UK, Lovefilm have a slight edge for films but Netflix have an edge for TV shows. It still depends on how much of their current catalogue is stuff you are interested in watching, but haven't seen. It's important to note that Lovefilm make it a tad awkward to figure out what stuff in their catalogue is available if you're on the streaming-only option, which is frustrating - and their catalogue is decidedly less impressive if you're not also getting discs through the post.

I've been using Netflix since it launched last year and thus far it's been worth the cost. Lovefilm I can take or leave, we only signed up for it because there was a deal with a discount going...

    LoveFilm
Netflix Ireland/UK probably a better bet than Lovefilm, Netflix US or choice of other regions definitely a better bet.
