    Hello,

Ive been diagnosed with antiphosphilid anti-body syndrome, which is a blood-clotting condition. Basically my blood is too thick and clots are forming. It caused a pulmonary embolism last year and a mild stroke earlier this year.

I was prescribed medication back in February to help with excessive bleeding during my period, im 50. its called Cyclokapron.

I had the stroke 2 days after I started taking these pills. At the time I was prescribed the pills I wasn't diagnosed with APS, however when we read the literature on the pills it advised not to take if there was a history of clots (which is what happened me last year).

I know it's a good thing that ive been diagnosed and I know what caused all the problems, but I could have done without a stoke on my medical history. I haven’t been back to see my own doc since the diagnosis, but im thinking of taking this further, legally.

Its caused a HUGE trauma to me, has put a huge strain on my relationship. Ive missed 3 months of work, im back in work the past week and trying to catch up but struggling. Ive been very depressed and im very angry that this has happened to me.

I couldnt drive for 6 weeks and because of the bad weather I was stuck in the house a lot of the time. This has changed my life completely.

Im just looking for some opinions on this

    Thanks
