My rear wheel has been claimed by the Dublin roads and I need to replace it. The wheels that I have on the bike are Mavic Aksium. When replacing them is it worth going up to Kyrsium or if anybody had recommendations as to a good alternative.

    Thanks

Is it for commuting, training, racing or all together?

Really just for training. I might do the odd triathlon/race on them

    And the budget?

I suppose to replace the ones I currently have are 230 to replace. So if you had a better option on the 200-300 range I would appreciate the suggestion.

Also if you had an option in 300-400 range that is a big upgrade I would definitely consider them.

    Thanks

Campagnolo Zonda is pretty much what I had in mind, very very good wheelset. http://www.bike-discount.de/shop/a78814/zonda-laufradsatz-schwarz-campagnolo.html?lg=en&country=104&cr=EUR#

Thanks. Might be a stupid question but the tyres that I have on my current wheels should fit the new wheels I buy?

Yeap they will work fine. If you go with the Zonda make sure you select the correct model for your needs (shimano or campag freehub).

I have full 105 groupset so would I be right it assuming the Shimano freehub or is it something I would need to check

Shimano is the only thing you need to know! :)

Slightly more expensive, Ksyrium Elites are also great wheels. As are Fulcrum Racing 3s.
