    The i7 processor appears more capable than the i5. The i5 is paired with an HDD running a bit slow at 5400, but I could not find the speed of the the larger HDD for the i7. I no longer use platter drives for gaming, vid editing, downloading, etc. I now use SSD's, which are much faster than platters, generate less heat, and do not fail as often as HDDs. But if I was to use a HDD, I would be looking for something spinning at 7200, not 5400.

    I haven't seen Torqay on this forum for a while, but he often recommended people to have a look at pcspecialist.co.uk

    It probably won't work out cheaper than the ones you're looking at, but you get a lot more choice when it comes to configuring the different parts...
    Plus you can dispense with windows if you like and chop 90e off the price.
