Theres a Honda Civic(new ish shape) 06 upwards in my area, anyway, it has a black backround reg plate, 5 numerical digits in silver.

Anyway does anyone know where such a reg comes from.

    Cheers.

I think maybe he means what country it comes from?
Is it just the 5 digits and nothing else on it, on a black backround? like say the old irish regs, just without the letters?

I saw a civic saloon with a GUAM (some island with a US navy base on it in Asia) reg plate on it.. Looked very similar to what you describe. Saw it in ringsend.

I have also seen plates with 5 large numbers (not old Irish) in silver, on black background. But I cannot for the life of me remember where they're from..

    Could it be Liechtenstein?

Edit - More likely to be Channel Islands

Its in the Cork area, right hand drive, it does not look like a trade reg. I was thinking channel islands but all I know is Jersey and I think they have a J and then the reg number.

To be fair, Guam is a little more than an island with a US Naval base on it, it's part of the US.

To be fair, I never even heard of it before the recent chest puffing by Young Kim of the NK.

Wasnt trying to insult the place btw..

It was just rather odd to see a Guam registered car driving across the EastLink bridge.

If its an Irish reg, the defense forces staff cars have them. Mainly Mondeo's in my experience.
