I don't want this to be another dole bashing thread but after hearing the news there on the radio it appears that around 190,000 people have now been offically long-term unemployed and I was wondering in your opinion how long is to long?

I know several people who has spent a year or more on the dole whilst still looking for work, then again a good mate of mine finished college a few weeks ago and got a job straight away.

So in your opinion how long is acceptable and how long is taking the piss?

Your not doing enough miles to warrant a diesel IMHO

I suppose leaving the fog lights on for about 3 weeks after the fog has lifted is about long enough tbh!

Once your feeling tired is to long maybe.

Pull in, have a nap, and a strong coffee.

But she'll insist on a diesel as Bridie down the road got her Mickie to get one.
