    Anyone know if Eagle Point in Bantry is busy right now.
    Thinking of heading down early tomorrow for 3 nights (last minute decision), but their phone is going to answering machine.....

    Why not head to Mannix Point Cahirciveen great site on the waters edge, Here presently also from Limerick and the sun is shining. plenty of pitches by the waters edge available Have a look at their website www.campinginkkerry.com

    Thanks sunchaser. Would you believe we did 3 trips to Mannix last year and twice the previous year.
    While I have no problem at all with going there again the wife fancied a change.
    As it happens they are not answering the phone at eagle point, last night or this morning, (their loss). So we are off to Clifden instead (Actons Eco Beach Campsite) as we have not been up that way for a few years, and have never stayed at the site.
