I seem to be suffering from something and I have no idea really what it is.

Every year, almost without fail, I get a cluster of blisters on my forehead usually close to my hairline which are generally liquid filled. This usually happens after I've been out in the sun for a prolonged time. It isn't necessarily due to me getting burned by the sun but it definitely has happened a day or so after getting burned in the past.

I burned my head when I was out on Monday for several hours and these blisters have appeared on the right side my forehead this morning. It usually happens on my right side. They are about 2/3mm in diameter and are raised with them forming a cluster of about 10 or so across an area of about a square inch or so.

If I pop them they skin gets very red, leak and continue to leak until they crust over and then scab.
They're pretty unsightly and discomforting since I get a numbness on my head whenever these appear. This numbness is generally located in several places, the most common place being about an inch or so into my hairline on the same side that the blisters appear, even as far back at the top of my head. I've never noticed the numbness appear on the opposite side before. The odd thing about it is that this numbness happens whenever I get the blisters but it's never originating at or directly touching the site of the blisters.

Also I also get numbness/tenderness around my eye (same side again), usually around my eyebrow or near my temple.

My mum suggested YEARS ago that it could be impetigo.

I do suffer from Coldsores but I dont have one right now and haven't had any for a couple of months at least.

I've found that putting coldsore cream(Zovirax) on the blisters has a positive effect (seems to makes the blisters smaller) but I can be sure.

Anyone know what they are or how to help get rid of them asap. It's been bugging me for years but I've never really looked into it before too much.

Go to a doctor to get a definitive answer, it could be a number of things and could also be completely unrelated to impetigo also

as above, you need to see your doctor. we can't speculate on diagnosis here
