    Hi all,

I have a phone interview to work with Google next week. Can anyone who has worked or had an interview for them before give me a brief outline of what to expect, question-wise?

    Thanks

You might want to specify what job your going for; I`m guessing the interview will be different depending on the job!

Totally depends on the job but the interview process can be gruelling. Google it and there are lists of mad crazy questions they ask you to see what you'll reply with.

There is a good few phases to there interviews for most positions (around 5 phases). Naturally competition will be high. As above they are known for throwing in a few very strange questions.

    Good luck

I had one a few weeks ago...it mostly focused around team project oriented questions. As far as I was concerned there weren't any of those surprise questions, I believe they save them for the face to face interview.

Expect questions like "How many PCs are in Ireland" or something. It's not about the answer but how you arrived at that answer.

Show lots of enthusiasm and be sure to have some "interesting" hobbies to talk about.
