Your exams are for your own benefit. Ignore people like that. It's not a competition.

Good friend you have there . The JC changed a bit since when you did it, maths got easier aparently (project maths:mad:) and the Irish higher level paper got harder(started in 2010, I think you may have did it?). The JC doesn't matter so I don't know why he is so worked up on beating someone who did it two years ago:confused::confused::confused:.

The 2010 papers where full of mistakes weren't they? The cashflow in business was wrong and there were mistakes on other parts of the paper too.

OP You'll see when their results come out who done better so I wouldn't worry about it.

If you look at the exam papers, the Junior Cert gets harder year by year. Not by a huge margin but by quite a bit. Tech Graph for example gets very hard year by year. So there is no way to compare as such and you shouldn't either. By the way, people say the Junior Cert doesn't matter which technically speaking is true as it earns you no qualifications but at the same time, it is good to have said you completed the Junior Cert as it has been around for a very long time and hopefully done well in it.

They're all marked the same. If the questions were tougher, they'd mark them easier, so roughly the same marks are given each year. So that doesn't matter.

Yeah I would say the idea of having a good teacher gives a person the advantage,
I mean if you have a person who is like the GOD of lets say Italian and then the other person who is the DEVIL of Italian t

I have a good maths teacher, I will get an A.
I have a bad Irish teacher, I'll be lucky to pass.

The teacher excuse really is legitimate. In second year I had a terrible maths teacher and was worried for Junior Cert. Then I got a new teacher, and everything was easier.

So, me and Lewis Hamilton head to head, same cars, same track, I have as good a chance in the Grand Prix?

I think you'll find some element of talent or work comes into it.
