    OP. Choose an orthodontist based on these things in this order

    1. Recommendation from somebody that has actually completed treatment and had no problem for a number of years.

    2. Location, you will be going to the clinic a lot of many adjustments sometimes 20-30. Make sure its local and you dont have to take a bunch of time off to go there especially in an emergency.

    3. Qualifications and Experience. Is the person a specialist orthodontist of highy experience with braces. Can they show you examples of their work and cases similar to yours.

    4. Price...yeah its a factor but cheapness often costs more.
