Used D70 or upgrade?

My Nikon D70 is on the blink and I have a strong feeling that it won't be financially feasible to have it repaired. Used D70 or D70s bodies can be had off eBay for about €100, whereas anything better/newer is going to be a few hundred euros at least. I'm an amateur shooter and the D70 has served me very well and IMO more…

I'm an amateur shooter and the D70 has served me very well and IMO more than meets my requirements.

I've a few lenses, batteries, memory cards and flash (any replacement must be Nikon) and the compatibility of these will play a major role in my decision.

What would you suggest - spend €100 and get a used D70, or ???

I managed to get a used D70 body from another boardsie at a very good price.
