Cassette Confused!

    :oHi all,

    I want to buy a second wheel and cassette for a trainer.
    I have Shimano hg-50 12x25 at present and I am unsure if a 9 speed 13-25 will do the job.
    These ratios are beyond me-blonde moment!

    13-25 will do fine, just make sure you have the same number of cogs on the new cassette as the old one.
    If you have a 9 speed atm, you have to get another 9 speed...

    Yip have 9 speed at the minute-love cycling but this technical stuff is beyond me-cheers for the reply

    13 is the number of teeth on smallest cog, 25 is the number of teeth on biggest. 7 cogs in between vary in size
