Beach holiday in August

    Hi all

    Need some recommendations folks! I want to book a week somewhere in early August for a group of 2, maybe 3.

    I've been to Croatia and Sicily the last two years and managed to cram loads of sightseeing in. This year, however, the plan is to do as little as possible and laze on a nice beach for the most part. Maybe one or two days max set aside for a bit of culture or a day trip.

    Sunshine is essential! An easy-to-get-to relatively cheap break would be preferred.

    Ideally I want to avoid the lager lout brigade and 18-30 clubs, but not after a complete ghost town either ;)
