    Didn't see it but David Nolan was banned for 10 days for not riding Petrol to the line at the 7.15R. I really don't understand how jockeys continue to make this mistake. I believe Probert did it earlier in the year as well, and I was on him. :pac:

    He actually had two looks behind him in the last furlong and still managed to mess up. It was a shocker you could actually see what was going to happen

    Obviously the bans aren't enough of a deterrent. How come he didn't get the maximum ban? This cost me quite a lot of money this evening. I'm talking almost €200. Now that may or may not be much to mister Nolan but it's quite a lot to me. Disgraceful. If a horse only got a 6lb penalty for winning no matter how easily it might put an end to all this fannying around.:mad:

    Yeah he cost me a bit of money too. I was actually looking at the commentary on the RP website and they said he got up to win. Didn't check the official result until an hour later and was bemused to say the least. Bleeding RP commentary!

    Jockey banned in Leicester this week for being a non trier got a 10 day ban,Kirby got a 28 day ban for easing down yet Nolan only gets 10,no consistency in the punshinments what so ever its no longer a sport more a coruppt business and Im not pocket talking either didnt back any of the above in question.
