    Hi guys
Cant find anywhere else on boards this would be suitable for and thought maybe some cycle shops would stock them..Looking to get a push scooter to help with commuting.Preferably a lightweight foldable version with decent rubber tyres, not the really small wheels.Where I park for work is about a 15 min walk from work and wouldnt mind flying down on a scooter instead

Something like this with the big wheels

Can't imagine you'd find any sort of commuter push scooter in Ireland, but you can certainly get the trick scooters which will easily take the weight of an adult. There was a lad who must've been near 40 flying around Swords skate park the other day on one.

I'm considering getting something like this too, though I am also looking at the Xootr Mg. Whatever i get would need to be pretty robust, with big wheels to handle the Pavements of Dublin.

As for looking like a dork ... I already look like a dork, it could hardly be much worse ...

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

This is the cycling adverts sub-forum - this is nothing to do with cycling gear
