    Hi all,

Staying in Dundrum, Co.Tipp for a few days next week and bringing the bike.

Can anyone recommend a nice spin up to 100k, preferably scenic with some nice climbs.

    Thanks

The old road in through Cashel and as far as Mitchelstown/Fermoy would provide scenic route and climbs!

Thanks, but giving me 140k round trip on Google maps, bit more than I wanted.

    Any other ideas?

You don't need to go all the way to Fermoy.

This route is 96k and it takes basically the same road Hersheys suggested.

I've looped around the Galtees from Cahir vicinity and it's a nice enough cycle. Quiet roads for the most part and good scenery. It's not very hilly although there is a good climb from Kilbehenny to Anglesborough that I remember.

That's the only cycling I've done in Tipperary though so I don't have anything to compare it to. You can try searching a site like ridewithgps.com for routes starting within 30 or 40k of Dundrum that are are around the distance you want and see if anything seems suitable.
