    Hey folks,

I am very close to pulling the trigger on this.

    https://www.canyon.com/_en/roadbikes/bike.html?b=3073

Any other users here have one?
This will be my first road bike, having used a mountain bike for years.

I had a look around and it seems to be the best specced bike for the money.

Any thoughts or feedback is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Go for it. Fantastic bike for the money. I have mine about six months and love it. It's like buying your second bike first. Just make sure you get the correct size. The online calculator is a little dodgy.

Cheers, I put my measurements into their online calculator, it recommended me the size "S". I'll fire them of a email just to get a response from a human so I can be sure its the correct size for me.

    I have one. Great bike.

I had an "entry" level bike on the bike to work scheme and this is just so much better

What height are you and what's your inseam?

I have the Roadlite 7 - great bike for the money. Generally the online calculator gives a size below. I'm 175 and have an S with a longer stem - fits perfect. It recommended an XS however, which would have been too small. I think it has a bias towards the inseam length. Before you order email the guys in the UK office and ask them their opinion ( sales@canyon.co.uk ). If you have a road bike that fits, compare the dimensions, especially the seat and top tube.

My height is 168cm and my inseam is 74cm.

I bought a Canyon Ultimate AL some time ago and found the online calculator fine. I would recommend that you play around with different combinations and measurements to see where the cut-off points are for the various sizes - in effect a type of sensitivity analysis. The calculator is definitely biased towards inseam measurements but by inputting +/- actual measurements you will get a good feel for your required frame size. Best of luck with it.

Well after waiting patiently for the past few weeks, finally more stock for my size came in.

I just placed the order, and should have it within the next 4 weeks. :D

This is a bit more, but it's carbon. Food for thought. Both are great bikes and have their pro's and con's. You will be happy with either.

I bought the Roadlite 6.0 about a month ago. My first road bike. Got it on the bike to work scheme. Couldn't be more delighted with it but then I have no reference so my advice is of little use :-)

The bike was finally delivered last night, didn't expect to have it till the end of the month, so I was happy out with that.

It was fairly straight forward putting it together, and I took it out for a quick spin up Cruagh road.
Very happy with it so far. :D

I switched the saddle after one ride - it was one thing I couldn't stick with. Was used to a good quality one on an old Trek I'd bought off me brother & the one the Canyon came with nearly broke me arse after one ride. There's some strange backsides out there is all I can say.
