Windows Laptop for Video Editing

    I'm close to replacing my 7 yr old laptop which is on its last legs.
    Does anyone know what specs (RAM, hard drive space, graphics card, processor etc.) I should get?
    Any suggestions for a good low price editing application too?
    I'll mostly be editing videos shot on iPhone for upload to Youtube.
    I don't feel the need to get the absolute highest spec but I don't want to be lacking processing power either and regretting my purchase.
    What do you think?

    Also, can you install Windows 7 on more than one pc? The new laptop will come with Windows 8 which I will probably want to replace with Windows 7.
