Went from Bewleys airport to malahide earlier before 8. Cost was €15.

On the way back after 8 it cost €20. Is the night premium 33%.

Also at what age are children considered adults for the extras charge?

    Cheers

I've always thought that children were just extra passengers at the same rate as adults. If you phoned for a taxi to collect you, that's an extra charge as well as the night rate. A bit of extra time at traffic lights here and there could quickly make up the difference. The fares sound about right to me.

Children are considered passengers for the extras. Nothing mentions age of children.

Have a look here for rates etc.

Cheers, that's a fair jump in rates. The sheet in the taxi mentioned extra adult passengers rather then just extra passengers.

The premium rate is about 30% more than the normal rate for Tariff A and is charged between 8pm and 8am and all day Sunday and bank holidays.

The call out charge or booking fee is €2 per journey.

Extra adults are charged at €1 each, Children under 12 are charged at a different rate, first child is free, 2 or 3 are €1 extra, 4 or 5 are €2 extra 6 or 7 children should cost no more than €3 extra.
