    Hello.

    My latest project. 5/8 W&B, original, celluloid scales.
    There still some pitting left on the blade, but i wanted to keep that beautiful, engravings intact.

    Nice restoration there.

    I think the stamping on the blade would look great if you could find a way of making it blade instead of just being shiny metal.

    Do you mean like letters should be black?
    I found something like gold paint inside them so they originally could be gold.

    Yeah it's the letters I mean (FULL CONCAVE). Gold could look interesting but don't do anything on my suggestion that may be difficult to remove.

    Actually, I did something similiar with my Puma 1938. Letters on the blade were originally gold. I've used gold paint to restore their original color. It was almost two years ago and they are absolutely fine.

    When I see stamping like that on the blade I just think it should have some colour to it.


    How long did the restoration take on this one?

    About two days of real work. I had to do some work on the scales as well because they were slightly warped.
