I spread 40 units of can on the 6th of may on silage ground that was growing poorly. Hoping to cut Friday. Is it ok to cut in terms of nitrogen still in the grass.

2 units a day would be 26 may so it should be grand

Should be OK to cut, 2 units a day the rule of thumb. How many units had you spread before the 40, and when?

Spread 60 units very early April.

Do you use any additives? Siloking product is suppose to turn any extra nitrogen into protein?? Maybe that might help it. Farmers in my area swear by it. Anyone else use it.?
