    Looking to book our own transfers to/from Faro airport, remember Resort Hopper running quite a few when we did a package holiday last year (we are booking independently this time).

    Anyone used them before?

    Trying to book and pay in advance andit won't accept a BOI credit or debit card?!?!

    Have dropped them an email but are still waiting for a reply.

    used them before a couple of times from faro. they've a couple of different options, the cheapest is the bus but if theres a group of ye then a private transfer might be the way forward. you could be waiting up to an hour from when you check in at the desk, happened us one year and the guy dealing with us was atrocious to be honest. we went with a private company the year after, about 45 quid each way to alvor

    Thanks, used the big bus service before but was thinking of using the private transfer this time, are you saying even if we prepay/book we could still be waiting for an hour to get the private transfer?

    Any tips on private companies? Tripadvisor has a few but suspect some are just posting to advertise.

    no we had the wait for the big bus, never got the private transfer with them but i'd assume it would be ok as they're not waiting for anyone else.
    i'm thinking we went with this crowd http://www.faroairporttransfers.com/ although it was a few years ago.
