    How does anyone think it's a good idea to load all that kit onto a carriage / railcar rather than having a much more efficient fixed plant and either OHEL and third rail. You can power more than one unit then, can store spare power either on site or in the units, reduce unit weight and cost, reduce fuel usage through lighter units, hell even gain some revenue by operating tours of the plant...

    Some grant money in play there perhaps? Can understand the desire to keep man-made intrusion light on a forest trail.

    Like to see what a couple of enterprising Uni engineering departments could do with some ultracapacitors and regenerative brakes to either extend the range of the vehicle, minimise the need to top the battery off from the grid or push top speed a little higher.
