Getting the full prescription.

    I just recently got my eyes tested at a large franchise, when I asked for just my full prescription, that I wanted to price glasses between other places to get the best offer I was left with what seems like only half of my prescription.

    The prescription is as follows:
    SPH CYL AXIS Near-ADD Inter-ADD BVD
    Right +4.25 -0.25 180.0
    Left +4.50 12.00
    H-Dist V-Dist H-Near V-Near
    RPrism
    LPrism

    It seems like they have left a lot out, is this my full prescription or what else do I need?

    Not everyone needs the other areas such as prism so you have gotten your full prescription.

    Yes but I haven't been given anything for the CYL and the AXIS on the left eye, on my right eye the SPH is +4.25, the CYL is -0.25 and the Axis is 180.0 but on the left eye they only gave me the SPH which is +4.50 and the BVD which is 12.00. Do I need the CYL and the AXIS for the left eye??

    You don't have a cyl and axis for the LE, they would have given it to you if you needed it. No one is going to h=give you half a prescription.
