Looking for an online (preferrably) shop selling Liqui Moly Pro-Line Engine Flush and maybe Oil Sludge Removal as well.

The ones above will not post to Ireland, ebay doesn't have them (well, Germans have, but postage price's just insane).

    Anyone? :o

I have bought the engine flush from Micks garage in the last few months but not sure if they are still selling it...
It maybe worth while dropping them an email to see if they still have it in stock....:)

I was thinking of something like this for a diesel engine, Having read the technical bit, it claims it can be used for diesel and petrol.
How about getting it shipped to a parcel motel account?

Is this kind of thing effective? or snake oil? or maybe too effective?

I recal a personal account told to me years ago, someone was using the standard available engine oil in their old car for years, they were encouraged to try a new oil, I think it was a multigrade, which they did not know but apparently it had detergent additives which they believe cleaned away the crud, as the engine had worn around the built up carbon/crud that without it the engine was relegated to the scrapheap.
Meaning, will such an additive do more harm than good.

I was thinking of taking off the sump and get most of the sludge out by that means, one of the additives suggests cleaning the screen in the sump so it looks like someone would have to be doing that anyway?

Anyone any experience of these products good or bad? or anything like them, can they end up doing more harm than good?
