Bought an Elips C from Ovale: quick question

Hi, so I bought an ovale elips C kit. It's small and neat and might solve my problems.

However I'm confused. It has a 'pass through' for charging. The plug is one of those 2 pin European jobs so can't use that in the office. I've plugged it into the USB and it says there should be a red LED on light up.... Does anyone know where this is? The button? It lights when pressed and it works, but I cannot see the red one. I am colour blind so I'm wondering if I'm missing something, if my USB cable is dodgy, if the thing is broken.

It might sound mad, but I really can't see certain colours. I've attached a pic of it, maybe you guys can see something? This happens me a bit!

    Thanks :)

Hi Ross, good to see you back - hope it goes well for you this time. :)

I'm not familiar with that device so can't be of much help, but I can tell you that there are no red lights in the picture you attached.

    Thanks for checking for me!

I'm doing my best to stay calm about this. I spent a LOT of money on this. Money I desperately need, but figure can save on smokes long term.

The plug is European which is annoying, but both batteries don't have any red light. I won't make the shop again today possibly with work being very busy.

Might be worth including the Kit name in the title to catch another user of the kits attention. I don't know anything about them. Think Tommy2bad had one at some stage though.

P.I.T.A had one too, hold off till someone comes along to help Ross, it might just be a small thing.

Are you sure you're using a powered USB port on your computer? Might be worth checking with a phone or something to make sure it's capable of charigng.

Tiny light on bottom, turns off when charged. Your pic is at the wrong angle for us to see anything.

    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I see!

You're a legend, light is on there alright. Could not see that, got someone over and yep it's fine :)

    MUCH appreciated.

Using your pic as a reference the little red light is on the right of where the charge cable goes into the battery. Its tiny and not viewable from every angle.

FYI - you can just stick a pen top into a socket and insert a european plug. thats how i do it.

    ignore

The plug is European which is annoying

Personally if I ever get something with an EU plug I'll cut the plug off and wire on a UK/IE plug.

However that's not possible, ie it's part of a power adaptor or something, I'd return it based on the grounds the unit has been made for countries with EU wall sockets and I bought it in a country that doesn't have EU wall sockets.

I f*@&n hate EU wall sockets on products. Might as well be a bloody American or Australian or Martian wall socket

    I feel your pain Ross

Have an adaptor at home, now I know it charges I'm ok to go with the USB. Stupid colours confusing me again. I'm pretty sure 'purple' isn't a real thing and was invented to annoy me!

It is a bit irritating but no real hassle.

Got some ovale tobacco liquid, must have a shop for some more now in a bit! This'll do initially!

Man if it wasn't for you guys some poor vendor would have me waving a red light in his face shouting that there is no red light! :)

I'm officially a vaper now. One of you! Let that sink in. I'm. One. Of. You! :P Lol, seriously though you guys have been phenomenal to me, and that's no easy thing!

The red led is at the base beside the hole that you plug the jack into. It is very small so easily missed.

I really like that Ovale. I've had one for six months and it's what I use when I go out as it's small and discrete. Great for airplanes and other places where vaping may be frowned on. Downsides are price, leakage when used frequently and short battery life. I mostly use ego batteries with CE4 tanks at home and work now. More reliable and better all round experience but I'm holding onto my Ovale.

I'm using black tobacco too! Have some tobacco cognac here as well for a change. I've got a few wingnuts samples as well, but don't have a syringe to fill the tanks. Annoying all the bottles don't have needle tips like Ovale's ones.

I love wingnuts RY4-A (60) with Ovale's Cognac Tobacco (40) mix. My all day vape. Keep going back to it..
