Hi I'm just wondering where I could source the above? preferably in the shops? in particular I'd like to create the Smokey Eye look on a budget. Don't want to spend the E100 that some of the more prestigious brands would cost.

    Thanks

    K:)

    Eyeshadows - Bourjois
    Blushers - Maybelline Creme Blush
    Mascara - Collection 1000
    Gel eyeliner - Gosh

    Some other recommendations

Eyeshadows & eye primer - MUA
    Foundation - Bourjois or Revlon
    Concealer - collection 2000
    Gel eyeliner - essence

If you're going to wear cheap eye products then i'd suggest wearing a primer so the colours show up well and last long. The mua one in superdrug is only a few euro and works really well

Eyeshadows - Inglot build-your-own-palette (about 5-6 euro per eyeshadow and they're brilliant, up there with MAC in terms of quality, huge amount per pan too)

Concealer - Collection (2000) Lasting Perfection

Mascara - high street brands like Maybelline and Bourjois tend to do nice mascaras for under a tenner

Eyeliner - liquid: Essence, pencil: Rimmel Scandaleyes or Urban Decay 24/7 (worth the splurge), gel: Maybelline

Eyeshadow: Inglot freedom palettes. These are fantastic. The quality is unbeatable.

Also take a look at the L'Oreal Infalliable eye shadows. The quality differs between colours. So definitely swatch before buying. But the good ones are excellent.

Gel liner: Maybelline. This is apparently what Adele is using for her signature liner. And it is better than any gel I've tried before.

I got a superb eye palette from Blank Canvas Cosmetics last week lovely long lasting colours - side note their face powder palette and brushes are staggeringly good quality and value, I'm in love with them. They're irish too, bonus!

I've read lots of reviews and seen many videos where ELF (Eyes Lips Face) products are raved about for professional quality without high costs from branding, and I have an order placed with them but it hasn't arrived yet so I can't give feedback on the products yet. http://eyeslipsface.co.uk/

As said above for retail buying Bourjois are lovely and do smokey eye kits. Try googling a few makeup blogs for their 'drug store' recommendations and you'll pick up some good tips.

My favourite budget brands are Sleek, Essence, NYC and Catrice. They are all excellent and in my opinion very good quality.

I'd suggest bourjois too for eyeshadow-great little sets that cater for smokey eye and cost around 11euro. Big fan of Maybelline mascara too :-)

Mascara - Gosh (Length and Build I think it's called.. brilliant)

Highlighter/concealer - Aldi's Lacura (I think it's better than the YSL.. sits much better imho)

    Blush - Bourjois / Rimmel

Lip plumping gloss - 17 Va Va Voom (very good if a little too tingly.. but beauty is pain)

Avoid Maybelline mascara if you've sensitive eyes. I've seen some bad reactions to that mascara!
