Series 3 of Mad Dogs begins tonight on Sky 1 at 9.00pm.

I've been doing my best to avoid spoilers but what I do know is that it picks up after the series 2 finale in which the law caught up with Woody, Quinn, Baxter and Rick in Morocco.

Let's hope its as good as series 1 and 2!

Very solid opener.... strange direction it's going in though!

Not sure I'm a fan of having
the gang seperated.. their chemistry is one of the element that really sets the show above most.

Yeah enjoyed the opener. Never would of thought they would go down this route.

Decent opener tonight, not so happy with the preview of the following episodes, think I preferred it best when they were swanning around Spain!

I'm imagine we're shooting ahead in time at least a year next week. Hope to hell this doesn't turn out to be one of those "it was all a dream" story arcs.

I think the writing has been to smart than to take the dream route well I hope so.

That was not very good at all...

.. bit of a washout of a season truth be told.

It had it's moments, but that final episode was just a mess!

Yeah.. very unremarkable season. It had the air of "we've got the four lads free and the holiday booked, we'll knock the script out as we go along".

The last episode was terrible. I thought with the whole '2 years later' in the 2nd episode we would have a fresh show but it was not to be. Its time to put it out of its misery.

The 2 years later bit where all the lads were leading seperate lives just didn't work for me.. felt myself largely looking at my watch for that episode. I think it's, like I said earlier, the cast have such chemistry that scenes together are what makes the show for me.

The first episode in the prison and the third episode where they go to Embassy both were enjoyable.

There was a decent little 'Making Of' too after the final episode.. worth watching. I follow Max Beesely on Twitter and he said earlier this year (maybe March) that were just back from filming the fourth and final series.. and I notice Sky mentioned a 2 part finale to the show early in the new year.

If the 2 parter can end on a high, I'll be happy enough.

2 part finale starts tonight on Sky 1 at 9pm. Concludes tomorrow night. Just a reminder.

Quite a slow episode. Only got going in the last ten minutes. Final episode of the whole series is tomorrow night.

Well, thats out of its misery with an ending my cat could have written better. For future viewers, do watch season one and maybe season two. Then give up.

Terrible ending. Can't believe it was so bad and flat.

    what the hell was that?

I know its hard, obviously they had no intention of doing a show with more then one series so basically had no idea what they were doing but surely they could have come up with something better then those two piles of puke I just watched?

    Pointless

    Episode 1 slow and plodding

Episode 2 a bit like Lost rushed and too many loose ends. I get they died in the end but the start of the show was far far better than the end, series 1&2 were the best and by the end of 2 you could tell they had decided it had legs when it should have been killed off at the end of 1 with them getting away.

Why two episodes why not six and finish it off properly. Considering the ending was butchered surely the group of people they tested it on said no that didn't work.

I like the way the end is so confusing and open for interpretation that Sky could if they wanted ignore this ending and in a few years resurrect the show but they won't hopefully.

I'll remember Mad dogs for series 1&2 and forget the African bit and the ending.
