    Hi,

I am interested in buying a grey colour kitchen but any of the showrooms I have been in to only seem to have cream or brown or gloss kitchens. I would love to know if any of you have a grey kitchen or have seen any in the kitchen showrooms I live in Ennis Clare.

Pop into B&Q , they should have the Carisbrook Taupe on display, it a green/grey colour. You really need to see it on display to see the colour properly.

For my own kitchen, it was made up in Poplar wood and painted on site but most companies can now offer a variety of shades in their painted door range. Look at Farrow and Ball or Colourtrend Historic range for a variety of grey shades as each will look very different in your kitchen. Once you know what shade you would like then it's easier for your kitchen supplier to try and match it. Personally I really like Ivory Tusk in Colourtrend and Pavilion Gray in F&B

Also Houzz.com will show you pics of every possible shade, it might help you make your decision.

thanks so much everyone for taking the time to reply,

Pinky123 that kitchen in B&Q looks nice it did have a light grey in mind but have to say I do that that one now! the problem for me is I really want to see a grey kitchen in person as any local showroom I have gone in to has only got brown or cream & if you want a different colour you only get to see a door panel. Both colours Ivory tusk & pavillon grey look fab. I guess I should check with local supplies on prices as our finances have changed a lot since we started the build I have had to cut back the budget on the kitchen so I am not sure if I could afford solid wood & then have it painted but I guess I should ask they might surprise me.

BGIT I did not receive a PM from you yet

hi. just to let you know of a really good kitchen company, who build solid wood kitchens at a fraction of the cost of other retailers. The Victorian kitchen company in Dublin are doing a Fab offer of a solid kitchen painted in any farrow and ball colour of your choice and fitted for €7450!! Not too far off what a budget kitchen will cost, plus they won't date and will last and last. They have some lovely pics of projects they have completed.
