Planning fun outdoor activities like a day at the zoo, the Japanese gardens, hikes in the mountains.

Being able to sit out in the garden in the evening , the bright evenings, the sunshine makes you want to do loads of outdoorsy things - it's great!

Not needing a jacket/coat/umbrella etc at all for the whole day, YES!

Warm sunshine, not just sunny but breezy, but actual warm sunshineyness!

Getting freckles and healthy rosy cheeks, but still staying as pale as I am, sounds wierd to some people but i like it!

Beach walks, sound of the sea and icecream!

This one might just be me, but staying up late! During the winter I get sleepy sooooo early, but I realised last night that at my usual bedtime it was still bright outside :pac:

Walking on the beach in the late afternoon. Just before the sun properly goes down. But just after the sun is properly blazing.

Ice-cream (obviously!). Has to be mint, though!

Playing football on those warm, balmy evenings.

Being able to leave windows open all night.

An excuse to wear Hawaiian shirts!

Just sitting on the balcony, having a quiet drink, holding hands with my special someone and watching the sky slowly turn from blue to pink to red to black. Bliss.

Flip flops, and being able to wear them - I could never do for years as they used to cut in between my toes!

Swims in the sea!

Busy beaches - sounds wierd but it is nice to see on a hot summers day in this country!

Wearing white loose ruffle sleeve dresses, very different to my usual wear but feels good in this weather!

I love this song on so many levels. Such a brilliant song for this time of year. Just imagining sitting in the sun, a cold cocktail on one hand, this playing in the background. Classier than James Bond in a Monte Carlo casino. :cool:

The sun is back :D:D:D

And this year I have moved to a house with back and front garden, and a deck! We have a bbq and getting an engagement present of garden furniture this weekend. I'm going have bbq meat and salads for dinner forever!!

Came home yesterday and my boyfriend was cutting the grass, loved the smell. I practiced my dance routines out on the deck
