Selling a set of Velocity A23 built on DT Swiss 190 ceramic hubs Shimano Sram fitment.Wheels are laced with 28 black DT Swiss double butted spokes front and rear.Front is laced 2X and rear is 3X. If manufacturers weights are accurate the wheels weigh 1,500 grams. They were built for me by Daragh in Bee cycles last December and have about 1,500Km on them.Selling because I've bought a Colnago Dream and the 23mm wide rims are too wide on the back.Wheels are true and bearings are smooth and roll and roll.Similar to HED 23mm wheels but with far superior hubs.
Looking for 500Euro and will include 12-25 shimano 105 casette (Vittoria open Paves not included)

What weight are you and were they built specifically for you? And as a matter of interest, why there is the same spoke count in the front and rear wheel?

Regarding the Colnago frame, where these 23mm do not fit? And is there much wear on the rims?

Weight varies but am currently at 78Kg. The wheels were built for me (I am the only owner have another set of 28hole h plus son wheels that I intend keeping) and the reason for the same spoke count is I bought the hubs first and then proceeded to source the rims. Rims are still in excellent condition and show minimal wear. I switch between the A23s and a set of Shamals. The open paves are 24 mm wide and the clearance on the rear of the Colnago is too tight.I intend using the Shamals on it. Hope this addresses your questions.

Is it possible to run standard 23c tyres, like gp4000's for example on these? I'm aware of the benefits of 23mm rims but do you have to run wider tyres to experience these claimed benefits??
    Thanks

Yes it is possible once your frame has clearance for 25mm tyres. As I said the open paves are 24mm and I have no bother with them. There is ongoing discussion on the forum on Bikeradar regarding wider rims,in fact I think some wheel suppliers such as Zipp are moving in this direction.
