Can you bank rent allowance cheques or do you have to cash them at post office?

Of course you can but why not get them transferred directly into your bank account.

Thanks, didn't realise i could get it paid directly into the bank, just thought as they come through the post in cheque form they needed to be banked. Haven't received 1 yet i'm just waiting for it to come through and didn't know what i was to do with it in the way of cashing it.
