I'm just wondering if you need to use cattle tags in order, or can you use them in any order you like? Would you have to use 0089 before 0090 etc.?

It's just that I have new tags already, but I have a couple of the old tags remaining that need to be converted to the new style. Can I just use the new tags at the moment and get the old ones changed over in the near future?

Any help would be much appreciated :)

I dont use all mine in order. When calving I keep a batch of tags for the replacement heifer calves together. I then back track on any skipped ones coming to the end of calving
