Anyone recommend a pour on for lambs?

    Hi all, just wondering if anyone could recommend a pour on for sheep/lambs for external parasites? Can't really find anything on magenta direct... Thanks

    depends on what you want to treat for - most common would be dysect but no pour ons will treat scab

    I usually use Clik this time of the year on lambs, a very small amount because of their size and it protects from blowfly/maggots for up to 16 weeks, don't usually have a problem with any other sort of parasite, If you have scab, dipping is best

    only problem with clik is it has a 42 day withdrawal period which ****s up lamb sales if applicable. we use either clikzin or ectofly. 8 day withdrawal and 6 weeks protection at least. also ectofly claims to have activity against the midge that spreads schmallenberg

    Thanks. I was trying to find a product that works for all the external parasites like blowfly, lice, ticks etc...What about Youngs Vector pour on?

    I use clikzin and get it from Magenta Direct cheaper than my local fellas! Maybe it wasn't on their site when you were looking.
