J1 Insurance Claim ...... help plz !

    So , typical bad timing for me ! I was due to fly to USA on my J1 yesterday but unfortunately couldn't due to severe mouth infection after getting a tooth extracted. As it is a bank holiday , it is impossibe to get hold of anyone. I have been to the doctor prior to my trip , e-mailed the insurance company (rang them, they said it was not a emergency, ring back for general claims), e-mailed USIT , and e-mailed CIEE . Does anyone have any experience in claiming off J1 insurance and how quick are they to pay . I imagine I should be fine to travel by the end of the week.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated !
