Screws for Cleats

I lost 2 x Screws in my cleats doing the Lions Cycle Challenge. I went to a couple of bicycle shops and they recommended buying new sets of cleats for like €20 just to get the screws. Instead I went to Woodies and got 3 x small packets. A packet of M5x16 , 6mm Spring washers, and M5 Washers. Total cost €4. I have tons of spares too. But be careful. If you have to use the M5 Screw then use 3 x MS flat washers so it does not push up through sole of shoe. I suggest you put a Spring washer on every screw anyway so as to keep them all tight. You wont loose screws again.:) Cheers Ian

Good idea. Or you could put loctite on the threads in the first place. Or find a bike shop that is more customer friendly
