Fantastic rides by Cal & Scott, and another example of how Bautista is more dangerous than Simoncelli ever was.

Also, an expensive weekend for HRC with Marquez binning his bike(s) 4 times

Lorenzo gave Pedrosa a "Marquez pass" through the 1st corner...:D

Bautista is an idiot....he tried to blame Rossi during his post crash interview.

Theres a dedicated MotoGP thread over in the motorsport forum.

With some fantastic qualifying and race pics from Frostie.:)

He said he crashed because of Rossi.

He didnt even bother his ar5e to go over and see if Rossi was ok.

Rossi had to be helped away by the marshals.

His post race interview was not ideal, but he is far from a dangerous rider....its not like he meant to chop rossi. Unfortunate for both camps but I think rossi is really starting to feel the heat now with the Ducati's showing good form. If he was not involved in that crash I think Rossi would have been in for a torrid time by Cal and Dovi.

Kudos to Lorenzo, week in week out he is having to fight off both Honda's with no wingman.

Your boy Alvaro (*insert gang sign here*) came within inches of taking other riders out today while proving how unworthy of that bike he is.

    But he's not dangerous right?

No more dangerous then any other rider pushing it....Marquez was blessed not to take Danni down.

Its what's technically called a race incident not rider error...How many people lost the front on that left hand bend, its luck if no one is around.

I suppose Crutchlow is a liability too is he? Simoncelli (RIP) was forever hitting the deck left right and centre pure luck he never did real damage....and if we go with your way of thinking Rossi is a murderer when he hit him with the foot peg.

Shame "WORLD CLASS" :pac::pac: Benjamin Spies (your boy) was not out there he could have finished in the top ten with the amount of DNF's :rolleyes:

Count the amount of riders Spies has taken out vs. the number Bautista has, good man.

As for the rest of your post,

Not sure why you keep bringing Spies up, but he's still a better rider than Bautista.

You know what they say about statistics...

And I still don't know why we're arguing about Spies...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 745 ✭✭✭Mr Sheen!

Im not arguing about Spies. You stated he was better than Bautista and I was just showing you why he is not. How good each rider is is reflected in championship standings. He is 18th . . .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 745 ✭✭✭Mr Sheen!

I felt sorry for all who came off on left handers in fairness . . .Something not right there!

If they both race every race on the same bike maybe, otherwise it's all personal opinion.

Bull****. . . If he was a place or two behind maybe. On that logic you could say pedrosa is rubbish??

Sure Crutchlow is up there with the big boys on the tech 3!

How would he be close to Bautista in championship standings when he's missed most of the season due to injury?

I know how Crutchlow's been doing, not sure how it's relevant either...

Ok Kamikazi I will explain why I think it is relevant.

    1) You stated that the differance between Bautista and Spies in the Championship was due too the differance in their bikes. Post #17 "If they both race every race on the same bike maybe"

    2) I then rubbished your post as Crutchlow is on a tech 3 yamaha and is currently 4th ahead of factory bikes. The bike is part of the puzzle but using spies' bike as an excuse for him being 9 places behind Bautista aint gonna fly with me. .

    3) Now you have changed your opinion why spies is 19th and reckon it is due too injury. He didnt get injured by coming off the bike a few times.

Im done explaining things too you now I could be here all day if I keep replying too you :rolleyes:

You have your opinion of Spies thats far enough. I personally dont rate him higher than Bautista at this moment in time because he is muck !!

No I didn't. I said that could possibly be one way of comparing them fairly. I never said Bautistas bike was better than Spies or vice versa.

Yes Cal is doing astoundingly well and I'm delighted for him. It's still irrelevant to this discussion though. And I never claimed the bolded part, I think you misunderstood me.
    leppla wrote: »

It's the single biggest factor, I've no idea if the bike is a factor as we haven't seen enough of Spies this season to make that call IMO. Dovi's doing well on what is presumably a similar bike.

I wasn't the one to bring Spies up in the first place.

I said Bautista is dangerous and he is, he's a liability on track and a ticking time bomb for any riders near him.

LOL every rider on the MotoGP grid is a world class rider, you kinda have to be to get there in the first place.

    world-class (wûrldkls)
    adj.
    1. Ranking among the foremost in the world; of an international standard of excellence; of the highest order: a world-class figure skater.
    2. Great, as in importance, concern, or notoriety.

    Ah lads come on now.......:pac::pac::D

Ben Spies needs to get his mojo back and stay injury free too.

Bautista has to show his ability and why he was given HRC machinery.

Cause if he doesnt show it soon, then I can see him ending up back at Suzuki in 2015.

Maybe both of them will do a Marco Melandri and end up going to WSB in the near future.
