had my monde mk3 parked under a tree and it covered in bird crap. to cut a long story short I used a scour pad to clean it. its now covered in dull parts and mild scratches. I'm thinking I'm going to have to get it machine polished. What do you guys think and how much should I have to pa y. Bloody ruined my weekend

Depends but yeah a machine polish by a pro should help, or at least they can determine the damage.

You're not the first and wont be the last to do it.
It will need machine polish. You could get the patches that are bad done...but then they'll stand out due to them being fresh and the rest of the car being slightly faded.
Depending on what standard you want, it might be best to get the bad areas done with a light polish all over. Price will depend where you bring it....a valet or a detailer. Valet might do it from 75-100??

Closest would probably be Rick's Car Care near Lusk Train Station.
They're a paint shop but I think they do this type of work too.
